Terms of Use

Baytotia is a technology platform that lets independent sellers — home businesses and productive families — run online shops. The seller of every product is the shop, not Baytotia. Baytotia is not the producer and does not prepare, store or deliver the products.

An order is a request to the shop. The shop confirms, prepares and hands it over at the chosen time, by pickup or by the shop’s own delivery. A card order counts as placed only once the payment is confirmed. The shop may cancel an order it cannot fulfil; if you paid by card, the amount is refunded to your card.

Card payments (mada, Visa, Mastercard) are processed by our payment provider, EdfaPay. Cash is paid to the shop on pickup or delivery. Requests about quality, missing items or refunds go first to the shop through the help option on your receipt; if you cannot resolve it with the shop, contact us and we will help. Card refunds reach your card within the time your bank takes.

You must be at least 18, give accurate information, and hold whatever licence or registration your activity requires. You are responsible for your products, prices, descriptions, allergen information, food safety, and for honouring the orders you accept.

Baytotia charges the commission of your plan on the merchandise value of each order paid online (never on delivery fees), and subscription fees for paid plans. Current rates are on our pricing section; a change applies to orders placed after it takes effect, never to past ones.

Card payments are settled to you by EdfaPay under your merchant account, or — where Baytotia collects the payment on your behalf — paid out by Baytotia to a verified bank account in your name. Baytotia may hold a payout that is under review for a payment problem, refund or suspected fraud.

Do not sell anything illegal, unsafe or that you are not licensed to sell; do not misuse other people’s data or send unwanted messages; do not try to break, overload or get around the platform’s security. We may remove content, suspend a shop or close an account that breaks these terms or the law.

Baytotia provides the platform as it is and works to keep it available, but cannot promise it will never be interrupted. The shop is responsible for the products it sells. To the extent the law allows, Baytotia is not liable for indirect losses, and its total liability to a shop is limited to the fees that shop paid Baytotia in the three months before the claim.

We may update these terms. We will post the new version here and tell shop owners about important changes in advance. Continuing to use Baytotia after a change means you accept it.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Any dispute that cannot be settled amicably goes to the competent courts in [city].
